Below are all 21 tobacco-free nicotine pouch brands we stock, side by side, with mg per pouch, how many strengths each one makes, the flavours it leans on and the standard price per can. Prices and strengths checked against our live catalogue, 30 October 2026.
A word on method. We don't publish sales rankings, and we don't claim a tasting panel. Every figure above comes from our live catalogue, or from the manufacturer where we've confirmed its specs (in this table, that's only ZYN).
The "best" brand is the one that makes the strength you already use, in a flavour you like, at a price that suits you. That's why the rest of this guide groups brands by need rather than ranking them.
What 'snus' means in the UK, and what's legal to buy
In the UK, "snus" is everyday shorthand for tobacco-free nicotine pouches, sometimes called white snus. Traditional tobacco snus can't legally be sold here. SnusBox sells tobacco-free nicotine pouches, not tobacco snus.
The law, as of October 2026 (England and Wales):
- Selling tobacco for oral use (traditional snus) has been illegal in the UK since 1992 under the Tobacco for Oral Use (Safety) Regulations 1992.
- As of October 2026, the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 re-enacts that ban from 29 October 2026 (s.8).
- As of October 2026, it is an offence to sell a vaping or nicotine product, including nicotine pouches, to anyone under 18 in England and Wales. This has applied since 29 October 2026 under the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 (s.10), so it is in force now.
Scotland and Northern Ireland bring these rules in under separate parts of the Act. For the full picture, see our guide to whether snus is legal in the UK and our explainer on tobacco-free nicotine pouches. If you already know what you want, our snus range is all tobacco-free.
Siberia and other names that mean tobacco snus
Siberia is a name best known for tobacco snus, not tobacco-free pouches. You'll see it mentioned on some UK sites alongside tobacco-free brands as if the two were interchangeable. They aren't, because tobacco snus can't legally be sold in the UK.
Siberia isn't in our range. Our Siberia snus guide covers the strength figures people quote and what to look at instead.
mg per pouch vs mg/g: read the strength right
mg per pouch is the total nicotine in one pouch. mg/g is how concentrated the nicotine is in the pouch filling. They're linked by a simple sum: mg/g × pouch weight in grams = mg per pouch.
As an illustration (not a specific product), 20 mg/g in a 0.5g pouch works out at 10mg per pouch. Every strength in this article is mg per pouch.
This is why two "43" figures can mean very different things. Cuba Black Line is 43mg per pouch. The 43 often quoted for Siberia is a mg/g figure, as our Siberia guide explains. The numbers look the same, but they measure different things.
Brands also label strength in different ways. ZYN, for example, uses dots on the can. Our guide to ZYN strengths maps those dots to mg.
Stay with your brand, change the strength
ZYN has the most strength steps of any brand we stock (six, from 1.5mg to 13.5mg), followed by Pablo with five (6mg to 30mg). That makes them the easiest brands to stay with while you adjust. Here is every step for each brand with two or more strengths.
| Brand | Strength steps (mg per pouch) | Number of steps |
|---|---|---|
| ZYN | 1.5mg, 3mg, 6mg, 9mg, 11mg, 13.5mg | 6 |
| Pablo | 6mg, 10.2mg Silver, 17mg Gold, 24mg Exclusive, 30mg Exclusive | 5 |
| Greatest | 4mg, 8mg, 10mg, 13.3mg XL | 4 |
| Zeus | 4mg, 10mg, 25mg | 3 |
| 77 | 5mg Light, 10mg Medium, 20mg Ghost Mini | 3 |
| Garant | 11mg Prime, 22mg Extreme, 25mg Extreme | 3 |
| Denssi | 5.6mg, 11.2mg | 2 |
| Cuba | 10.4mg White Line, 43mg Black Line | 2 |
| Havens | 13mg Blue Line, 32.5mg Red Line | 2 |
| Aroma Pouches | 13mg Essence, 35mg Attention | 2 |
| Maggie | 13.2mg Lite, 45mg Extreme | 2 |
| Snü | 9mg, 12mg | 2 |
| ZVOL | 6mg, 10mg | 2 |
| Camo | 6mg, 12mg | 2 |
| VELO | 8mg, 10mg | 2 |
Pablo is the one to know if you like fruit and want room to move. It runs from 6mg through 10.2mg Silver and 17mg Gold to 24mg and 30mg Exclusive, all at £3.79 a can. Blueberry Peach Ice is a good example: the 10.2mg Silver is a blueberry and peach flavour with ice, and the same flavour also comes at 17mg and 30mg (see our Blueberry Peach Ice comparison). More in our Pablo pouches guide.
ZYN covers the low and middle ground in small steps. Our ZYN UK guide lists every flavour at each mg. 77 (77 guide) and Denssi (Denssi guide) both have two or three steps at £3.99.
Killa and Iceberg each come in one strength here: Killa at 13.2mg (across both the standard and Exclusive lines) and Iceberg at 35mg. With them, changing strength means changing brand. A Killa user could look at Pablo Silver 10.2mg (one step down) or Pablo Gold 17mg (one step up), both at the same £3.79. See our Killa pouches guide and Iceberg guide.
Same flavour, different strength
The simplest way to change strength without losing a taste you know is to buy the same flavour at a different mg. Zeus, Denssi and Aroma Pouches sell every flavour at more than one strength. ZYN, Pablo, Cuba and 77 offer several flavours this way.

ZYN Cool Mint gives the gentlest same-flavour steps in our range: 1.5mg, 3mg, 6mg, 9mg and 11mg. ZYN makes 1.5mg–6mg as Mini pouches and 9mg upwards as Regular, so stepping from 6mg to 9mg changes the pouch size as well as the strength.
Zeus is the only brand we stock where every flavour (all 8) comes at three strengths: 4mg, 10mg and 25mg. The jump from 10mg to 25mg is a big one, so most people moving up will want to stay at 10mg for a while. At 10mg, Frozen Citrus is an iced citrus flavour. Our Zeus guide covers all eight flavours.
Pablo sells Blue Raspberry, Grape Ice, Kiwi, Pear and Pineapple at 6mg, 10.2mg, 17mg and 30mg. Blueberry Peach Ice comes at 10.2mg, 17mg and 30mg.
Denssi sells all 7 nicotine flavours at both 5.6mg and 11.2mg. Aroma Pouches sells the same 6 flavours at 13mg and 35mg. 77 has Fresh Mint, Ice Mint, Forest Fruits and Raspberry Ice at both 5mg and 10mg.
Cuba shares 13 flavours across White Line (10.4mg) and Black Line (43mg). Banana Hit is White Line only, and Ice Spearmint is Black Line only. See our Cuba White vs Black guide.
Smaller overlaps include Havens Grape Cola (13mg and 32.5mg), Maggie Mr Blue (13.2mg and 45mg), Greatest Cold Dry (4mg, 8mg and 13.3mg XL), Snü Fresh Mint (9mg and 12mg), ZVOL Spearmint Breeze (6mg and 10mg) and VELO Purple Grape (8mg and 10mg).
Where the jump between strengths is huge
Some brands have very large gaps between their two strengths. Cuba White to Black is more than four times the nicotine per pouch (10.4mg to 43mg). Aroma Pouches goes from 13mg to 35mg, and Maggie from 13.2mg to 45mg. The same flavour doesn't mean a similar experience.
If you already use nicotine and want more, step up one small increment at a time. ZYN Cool Mint 6mg to 9mg, or Pablo 10.2mg to 17mg, are sensible moves. Don't jump to the top of a brand's range.
Brand profiles by the strength you already use
Here is a short verdict on every brand we stock, grouped by the strength band you're already in. Find your band, then compare flavours and price.
Lower strengths for existing users (1.5mg–6mg)
This band is for people who already use nicotine and want a lighter pouch. For more detail, see our lower-strength picks.
ZYN has the widest low end of any brand we stock, starting at 1.5mg and moving through 3mg and 6mg. ZYN describes the 1.5mg Cool Mint as a cooling menthol taste with hints of peppermint. Every ZYN can is £4.19.
Zeus starts at 4mg with all eight flavours, including Frozen Citrus, Epic Berry and Mint Rage. The same flavours come at 10mg and 25mg, so you can stay with one taste as you move between strengths. £4.29 a can.
Denssi makes all seven nicotine flavours at 5.6mg, mostly iced fruit (Mango Freeze, Watermelon Freeze, Strawberry Freeze) plus Cold Mint and Spearmint. Every one also comes at 11.2mg. £3.99 a can.
- Greatest 4mg Cold Dry: a straightforward cold dry pouch at £3.99.
- 77 Light 5mg: mint and fruit, including Cola & Vanilla and Melon & Mint, at £3.99.
- Pablo 6mg: Pablo's lightest line, with mint and fruit at £3.79.
- ZVOL 6mg Spearmint Breeze: one flavour, £4.29.
- Camo 6mg Wild Mint: mint only, £3.99.
The 8mg–13.5mg middle
The 8mg–13.5mg band is where most ranges sit. Here you get the most flavour choice at prices from £3.79 to £4.99.
Killa is 13.2mg across all 17 flavours, split between fruit (Mango Ice, Grape Ice, Strawberry Watermelon), cold mint and cold dry, and cola. It's £3.79 a can. Our best Killa flavours guide sorts them by family.
Cuba White Line is 10.4mg with 14 flavours, mostly fruit, plus Cola and Cold Dry. It's £3.79, and most flavours also come in the far stronger Black Line.
Pablo Silver is 10.2mg with nine flavours, at £3.79. It's the second rung of Pablo's ladder and a natural step up from Pablo 6mg.
77 Medium is 10mg with 16 flavours. Alongside mint and iced fruit, it includes Black Tea and Green Tea, which few brands offer. Fresh Mint is a mint flavour at £3.99.
- Denssi 11.2mg: the same seven flavours as the 5.6mg, £3.99.
- ZYN 9mg, 11mg and 13.5mg: Cool Mint, Red Fruits, Black Cherry, Citrus, Spearmint, Coffee and more, £4.19.
- Garant Prime 11mg: Frost Berry, Ice Cool and Ice Cool Peppermint, £3.99.
- Greatest 8mg Cold Dry, 10mg Arctic Edition and Rage Lemonade, and 13.3mg Cold Dry XL, £3.99.
- Snü 9mg and 12mg: Fresh Mint, Lemon & Lime and Grape, £4.29.
- Camo 12mg Ice Cold Mint, £3.99.
- Havens Blue Line 13mg: Grape Cola and Sweet Mint, £4.29.
- Aroma Essence 13mg: six mint and fruit flavours, £3.99.
- Maggie Lite 13.2mg: Fruit Punch, Grape Soda, Jamaican Kola and Mr Blue, £4.29.
Pablo Gold at 17mg sits between the middle and the very strong end, with 12 flavours at £3.79. Read our Pablo Gold guide before stepping up to it.
Very high strengths: 20mg and above
Pouches at 20mg and above are only for experienced users who are already used to strong pouches. They aren't for anyone stepping up from lighter strengths, and nausea is more likely at this level. These are the 20mg+ options we stock:
- 77 Ghost Mini: 20mg (Mango, Original)
- Garant Extreme: 22mg (Mint) and 25mg (Cherry, Cool Mint, Peach)
- Pablo Exclusive: 24mg and 30mg
- Zeus: 25mg (all eight flavours)
- Havens Red Line: 32.5mg (Grape Cola)
- Aroma Attention: 35mg (six flavours)
- Iceberg: 35mg
- Cuba Black Line: 43mg
- Maggie Extreme: 45mg (Mr Blue)
Iceberg makes its nicotine pouches at a single strength, 35mg, with flavours including Sweet Mint, Grape and Kiwi Strawberry at £4.55. It also sells separate caffeine pouches, covered below. Cuba Black Line is 43mg at £3.79, with 14 flavours. For more detail, see our strong pouches page.
Smaller ranges we stock
- VELO: a big name, but narrow here, with Purple Grape at 8mg and 10mg and Icy Berries at 10mg, all £4.99. See VELO flavours.
- Loop: 9.4mg Hot Peach and Hot Rhubarb, £4.99.
- XQS: 8mg fruit and citrus (Tropical, Strawberry Kiwi, Citrus Cooling, Berrynana Twist), £4.55.
- STNG: 9.2mg Berry Seltzer, £4.55.
- RUSH: 11.2mg Green Mint, our only RUSH flavour.
Nordic Spirit and White Fox are names you'll see elsewhere. They aren't in our current range.
Flavour families by brand
Mint is the most widely covered flavour family, made by almost every brand we stock. Fruit comes a close second. Cola and soda, and coffee and tea, are much narrower.
| Flavour family | Brands and examples |
|---|---|
| Mint and cold dry | ZYN; Pablo (Cold Mint, Frosted Mint, Peppermint, Spearmint); Killa (Cold Mint, Cold X Mint, Cold Dry, Frosted Mint); Cuba (Cold Dry, Ice Spearmint); Greatest Cold Dry; Zeus Mint Rage; Garant; Camo; Snü; ZVOL; Denssi; 77; Aroma Pouches; Havens Sweet Mint; Iceberg Sweet Mint (35mg) |
| Fruit | Pablo, Cuba, Killa, Zeus, Denssi, 77, ZYN (Black Cherry, Red Fruits, Citrus), Aroma Pouches, Garant Frost Berry, Snü, XQS, Loop, Iceberg, VELO |
| Cola and soda | Cuba Cola; Killa Cola and Cherry Cola; 77 Cola Ice and Cola & Vanilla; Havens Grape Cola; Maggie Jamaican Kola and Grape Soda; Greatest Rage Lemonade; STNG Berry Seltzer |
| Coffee and tea | ZYN Coffee (6mg and 11mg); 77 Black Tea and Green Tea (10mg); Pablo Mocca (30mg only, a very high strength) |
Killa and Iceberg each have a flavour called Energy. That's simply the flavour's name. For more on each family, see our guides to mint nicotine pouches, fruit nicotine pouches and the best nicotine pouch flavours.
Pouch formats: mini, regular and XL
ZYN publishes exact pouch sizes and pouches per can for its UK range, set out below. For other brands, where a format is mentioned, it comes from the product name.

According to ZYN UK, its two formats are:
- ZYN Mini: 13mm × 28mm, dry, 20 pouches per can, at 1.5mg, 3mg and 6mg.
- ZYN Regular: 14mm × 34mm, moist, 21 pouches per can, at 9mg to 13.5mg.
In our range, the ZYN listings with "Mini" in the title are the 3mg Cool Mint and the 6mg Mini Strong Cool Mint.
Mini pouches suit people who want something smaller under the lip. 77 Ghost Mini (20mg) is a mini by name. XL pouches are larger, and Greatest Cold Dry XL (13.3mg) is an XL by name.
For how long a pouch typically lasts, see how long snus lasts.
Caffeine pouches under nicotine brand names
Iceberg and Denssi sell caffeine pouches alongside their nicotine pouches. A "150mg" figure on an Iceberg can is caffeine, not nicotine. Check the mg figure and the product title to see which one you're buying.
Iceberg's nicotine pouches are 35mg. Its separate caffeine range, sold as "Energy Pouches", comes at 75mg and 150mg. Some flavour names (Arasaka, Black, Emerald and Sweet Mint) appear in both ranges, so read the title carefully.
Denssi sells nicotine pouches at 5.6mg and 11.2mg, plus separate 100mg caffeine pouches. For more, see our caffeine pouches guide, and our Cuba Black Line post for where the "150mg nicotine" myth comes from.
How to choose a brand without overdoing it
Start from the mg you already use. Find the brands in that band in the ladder table, then narrow them down by flavour family and format. Price comes last, since the gap between brands is about £1.20 a can.
If you're coming from around 6mg, step up gradually and try 8–10mg before anything stronger. Don't buy 20mg or more unless you're already used to strong pouches.
Common side effects include hiccups, gum irritation where the pouch sits, and nausea, which is more likely at higher strengths. If they happen, take the pouch out and drop down a strength next time. Our side effects guide covers this in more depth.
Nicotine is addictive, whatever form it comes in. Follow the manufacturer's guidance on the can and use one pouch at a time. Our nicotine pouch strength guide walks through every mg.

FAQs
What are the main nicotine pouch brands sold in the UK?
At SnusBox, the main ranges are ZYN, Pablo, Killa, Cuba, Zeus, 77, Denssi and Iceberg. Alongside them we stock Garant, Greatest, Aroma Pouches, Havens, Maggie, Snü, ZVOL, Camo, STNG, XQS, VELO, Loop and RUSH, making 21 brands in total. They run from 1.5mg to 45mg per pouch, with standard prices from £3.79 to £4.99 per can.
What is the best snus brand in the UK?
There isn't one best snus brand. The right one makes the strength you already use, in a flavour you like. ZYN has the most strength steps (six, from 1.5mg to 13.5mg), while Pablo runs from 6mg to 30mg and has the most flavours of any brand we stock.
Is snus sold in the UK?
Selling traditional tobacco snus has been illegal in the UK since 1992 under the Tobacco for Oral Use (Safety) Regulations 1992. As of October 2026, the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 re-enacts that ban in England and Wales from 29 October 2026 (s.8). What's sold as "snus" in the UK is tobacco-free nicotine pouches, and since 29 October 2026, selling them to under-18s has been an offence in England and Wales (s.10).
Why is snus illegal in the UK?
The ban on selling tobacco for oral use comes from the Tobacco for Oral Use (Safety) Regulations 1992. Those Regulations were made under the product-safety powers in section 11 of the Consumer Protection Act 1987 and implemented Council Directive 92/41/EEC. As of October 2026, the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 re-enacts the ban in England and Wales from 29 October 2026 (s.8).
Are snus and nicotine pouches the same thing?
Not strictly. Snus is a Swedish tobacco product, while nicotine pouches are tobacco-free. In the UK, people often call pouches "snus" or "white snus", but selling tobacco snus is banned under the Tobacco for Oral Use (Safety) Regulations 1992 and, as of October 2026, in England and Wales under s.8 of the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 from 29 October 2026. Our guide to what snus is explains the difference.
Which snus brands do the lowest strengths?
ZYN goes lowest at 1.5mg and 3mg, for existing users who want a lighter pouch. Next come Zeus and Greatest at 4mg, 77 Light at 5mg and Denssi at 5.6mg.
Which snus brand is the strongest?
In our range, Maggie Extreme Mr Blue is 45mg per pouch and Cuba Black Line is 43mg. These are only for people already used to strong pouches, and nausea is more likely at these strengths. See our strong pouches page for the full list.
Which snus brand is cheapest per can?
At standard prices, Pablo, Killa and Cuba are the lowest at £3.79 per can. Our multi-buy discount gives 10% off when you buy 10 or more cans, 15% off at 20 or more, and 20% off at 30 or more, applied automatically in the basket. Browse our lower-priced pouches for more.
ZYN or Pablo: which should I pick?
ZYN suits lower and mid strengths (1.5mg–13.5mg) and offers mint, fruit and coffee at £4.19. Pablo starts at 6mg and goes up to 30mg, with more fruit flavours, at £3.79. Pick the one that makes your current strength.
Is Siberia snus legal in the UK?
Siberia is best known as a tobacco snus brand. Selling tobacco snus has been illegal in the UK since 1992 under the Tobacco for Oral Use (Safety) Regulations 1992, and as of October 2026 the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 re-enacts the ban in England and Wales from 29 October 2026 (s.8). It isn't in our range, and its often-quoted 43 is mg/g, not mg per pouch (see our Siberia guide).
Why does the can say mg/g but the pouch is a different mg?
mg/g is nicotine concentration, and mg per pouch is that concentration multiplied by the pouch weight. As an illustration, 20 mg/g in a 0.5g pouch works out at 10mg per pouch. We list mg per pouch.
Do Iceberg and Denssi pouches contain nicotine?
Their regular ranges do: Iceberg at 35mg, and Denssi at 5.6mg and 11.2mg. Both brands also sell separate caffeine pouches (Iceberg at 75mg and 150mg, Denssi at 100mg). Check the product title and the can to see which one you're buying.
Is 20 snus a day a lot?
There's no official UK daily figure we can point to, and the nicotine in 20 pouches varies hugely with strength. Follow the manufacturer's guidance on the can, and remember that nicotine is addictive. If your use keeps creeping up, a GP or pharmacist can advise.
For adult nicotine users only (18+). Contains nicotine, which is an addictive substance.
