Cuba Nicotine Pouches UK: White 10.4mg vs Black 43mg (2026)

Two cans of Cuba nicotine pouches, same £3.79, and one has about four times the nicotine of the other. White Line is 10.4mg per pouch, Black Line is 43mg, and twelve of the flavours come in both. So the flavour name won't save you if you grab the wrong one. Every flavour is on our Cuba brand page.

Quick answer: Cuba is a Polish-made, tobacco-free nicotine pouch sold at SnusBox in two lines at the same £3.79 a can: White Line at 10.4mg per pouch for most existing users, and Black Line at 43mg only for people already used to very strong pouches.

What are Cuba nicotine pouches?

Cuba is made by Nicotobacco, a Polish manufacturer based in Warsaw that also makes the Baron brand, according to the manufacturer and Europesnus. Despite the name, there's no Cuban connection. The pouches are made in Poland.

They're tobacco-free nicotine pouches, and the manufacturer describes the Cuba White range as tobacco-free. "Cuba snus" is just the search term a lot of people use. SnusBox doesn't sell tobacco snus.

A retailer listing from Pouches For You gives the ingredients as plant fibres (cellulose), water, flavourings, a humectant, a sweetener, nicotine salt and an acidity regulator. There's no tobacco leaf on that list, which matches the manufacturer's tobacco-free description.

Both lines come as slim pouches, 20 to a standard can, per the manufacturer's White and Black collection pages. Each line is named after the colour of its pouch: White Line pouches are white, and Black Line pouches are black.

Cuba White vs Black Line: same price, four times the nicotine

This is the bit that catches people out. Both lines cost £3.79 a can at SnusBox, so the price tells you nothing about strength.

Black Line has about 4.1 times the nicotine of White (43 ÷ 10.4). The manufacturer labels White "Lite" and Black "Extra Strong", and says Black is designed for "experienced nicotine users".

Because the price is identical, check the line name and the mg in the product title and on the lid before you add a can to your basket.

Our verdict: if you're on ZYN Medium (11mg, £4.19), White Line is a similar strength for 40p less a can. Coming from Killa (13.2mg, also £3.79), it's a slight step down in strength at the same price. Black Line isn't a casual upgrade. White Cherry is the obvious first can: familiar flavour, familiar strength.

Every Cuba flavour at SnusBox, by strength

Here's every Cuba flavour we stock, mapped against the two lines. Pick the flavour, then make sure it's at the strength you already use.

Banana Hit and Blackcurrant are White Line only at SnusBox; the other twelve come in both. That's 26 single cans in total, all on the Cuba nicotine pouches page.

Which Cuba flavours to try first

Tasting notes below are the manufacturer's or Northerner's words, not ours.

• Cherry: the manufacturer calls it "juicy cherry". It's in both lines, so you can match it to your usual strength.
• Cola: in both lines, so it's the easiest flavour to compare White and Black like for like. The manufacturer's Black Cola page lists it with black pouches, 20 to a can. Only go Black if you're already used to very strong pouches.
• Peach: Northerner describes it as "the sweet flavour of peach with a mellow finish".
• Grape: "mild flavour of white grape", according to Northerner.
• Cold Dry: Northerner calls it "cooling mint with a refreshing effect". It's the one to pick if you'd rather have mint than fruit.
• Blackcurrant: "a rich berry flavour profile" (Northerner), White only here.

Banana Hit, which Northerner describes as "the smooth taste of banana", is our other White-only flavour. We couldn't find manufacturer or retailer tasting notes for Pineapple, Forest Berries or Mango, so we'll let the names speak for themselves.

Is there a 150mg or 200mg Cuba Blackline?

Not that we can find. You'll see 150mg and 200mg quoted online, but the strongest Cuba we stock is the 43mg Black Line, and those bigger numbers most likely come from mixing up two ways of measuring strength, or from a mislabelled listing. Mg per pouch is the amount of nicotine in one pouch, and it's the number to compare products on. Mg/g is how concentrated the nicotine is per gram of pouch material (Northerner's strength guide explains the difference well).

The manufacturer gives Black Line as 43mg per pouch at 66mg/g, and White Line as 10.4mg per pouch at 16mg/g. Both pairs work out to the same pouch weight, so the figures are consistent, and neither number gets anywhere near 150.

Europesnus states that no Cuba product it carries reaches 100, 150 or 200mg, whether per gram or per pouch (retrieved 13 October 2026). Some retailer listings file Blackline under a "150mg/g" heading while the product details on the same site say 66mg/g, so the higher figure looks like a mislabel.

"Cuba Blackline" and "Cuba Black Line" are the same product.

Where Cuba sits against ZYN, Killa and Pablo

Figures are mg per pouch from our live catalogue.

White Line sits in the same band as ZYN Medium and Killa (our Killa pouches guide covers that range). At 43mg, Black Line is far above what many experienced users ever need, and well beyond Pablo Gold and Exclusive (see our Pablo pouches guide). It also isn't the top of our catalogue, so "strongest Cuba" doesn't mean "strongest pouch".

We don't recommend anything at 20mg or above unless you're already used to strong pouches. If you're on around 10–13mg, White Line is the natural fit. If you're unsure where you sit, our guide to choosing nicotine pouch strengths and flavours is a good place to check.

Some UK retailers choose not to sell pouches above 20mg at all. Northerner, for example, cites Swedish guidance SIS/TS 72:2024, which is why it stocks only White Line. That's a retailer's own policy, not UK law.

If you already use pouches well above 20mg and want Cola at that strength, Black Cola is 43mg per pouch. If you don't, stick with White Line.

How to use Cuba pouches and what to watch for

Place the pouch under your top lip. A session is typically around 30 minutes, and no longer than an hour. Use one pouch at a time, and don't double up or go beyond the guidance on the can.

Nicotine is addictive, whichever line you choose. Common side effects include hiccups, gum irritation and nausea, and they're more likely at high strengths like 43mg. If you feel unwell, take the pouch out.

Bin used pouches rather than leaving them lying around, and keep cans out of reach of children and pets. For more detail, see our guide to nicotine pouch side effects and our step-by-step guide to using pouches. It's written around ZYN, but the basics are the same for Cuba.

Other Cuba lines you'll see online

A few other Cuba names turn up in searches:

• Ninja Edition: 15.6mg per pouch (30mg/g), per the manufacturer.
• Cuba Low: 4mg per pouch, per the manufacturer.
• Coca Leaf: 50mg per pouch, per Europesnus.

You'll also see flavours such as Cheese, Liquorice and Bubble Gum in overseas reviews. SnusBox stocks Cuba White Line and Black Line only.

Cuba and UK law

As of October 2026, selling tobacco for oral use (traditional snus) has been illegal in the UK since 1992 under the Tobacco for Oral Use (Safety) Regulations 1992, and the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 re-enacts that ban from 29 October 2026 (s.8).

Cuba is a tobacco-free nicotine pouch, not tobacco snus. SnusBox sells tobacco-free nicotine pouches only.

As of October 2026, the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 makes it an offence, from 29 October 2026, to sell a nicotine product, including nicotine pouches, to anyone under 18 in England and Wales (s.10). As of October 2026, Scotland and Northern Ireland bring these rules in under separate parts of the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026, with their own start dates.
