How strong is Pablo Gold? 17mg per pouch, not 17mg/g

Pablo Gold has 17mg of nicotine per pouch. It's not 17mg/g, as some pages say. The 24mg/g you'll see on some UK shop pages is a different measure: it's the nicotine per gram of pouch material, not the amount in one pouch.

Some shops also still call Gold a limited edition, but at SnusBox it's a standing range of 12 flavours.

At 17mg, Gold is the strongest nicotine pouch under 20mg we stock. Just below it is ZYN XX Strong at 13.5mg. Above it are the 20mg 77 Ghost Mini, Garant at 22mg and 25mg, Zeus 25mg, and Pablo's own 24mg and 30mg cans.

The mint situation: Frosted only

Gold has no plain Spearmint, Peppermint or Cold Mint. Those are in Silver 10.2mg and Pablo 6mg. Gold's two mints are Frosted Mint and Frosted Ice, and both lean heavily on cooling.

That cooling makes them taste sharper and more intense than a plain mint, even though the nicotine is the same 17mg as every Gold flavour. If you want a softer mint, Silver Spearmint or Peppermint at 10.2mg is the gentler pick. If you want a clean mint at 17mg, Frosted Ice is it: menthol and ice, with no fruit.

Gold flavours we don't stock, and what to try instead

Other shops list a Gold White Mint and a Gold Cola. We don't stock either. For a clean mint at the same strength, Frosted Ice is the closest we have.

For cola near Gold's strength, try Killa Cola or Killa Exclusive Cherry Cola, both 13.2mg and the same price as Gold. The flavour ladder: keep your flavour, change the strength

Pablo Gold is 3.5–4mg stronger per pouch than the 13mg pouches we stock, including Killa 13.2mg and ZYN XX Strong 13.5mg. On price, Gold ties with Killa as the cheapest in this group. It sits between Killa and Pablo's 24mg and 30mg cans.

Who Pablo Gold suits, and who should step down

Pablo Gold suits existing nicotine pouch users who are already comfortable at roughly 10–13mg. It isn't for anyone new to nicotine. If you don't use nicotine, don't start because of Gold or any other pouch.

Place one Pablo Gold pouch under your top lip and leave it there. Pablo's own guidance is about 30 minutes per pouch. Some shops quote longer, but we'd go with the maker's figure, and shorter if 17mg is new to you.
