In the UK, you'll mostly buy caffeine pouches online, either from a specialist pouch retailer or straight from a brand's own website. The bigger risk is ordering the wrong can, because several brands sell caffeine pouches and nicotine pouches under the same flavour names.

As of October 2026 we found nothing confirming that Tesco, or any other supermarket or chain, stocks caffeine pouches. Independent convenience or supplement shops might carry them, but that's unverified. The realistic local option is to order online and collect from an Evri ParcelShop in mainland Great Britain (details in the ordering section below).
Buying caffeine pouches on Amazon UK and other marketplaces
Marketplace listings come from a mix of sellers. Check whether you're buying from the brand's own store or a third party, and who deals with problems if the order goes wrong. The Food Standards Agency warns about counterfeit supplements online, especially when the price is lower than other sellers charge. Its advice (FSA caffeine guidance, published 25 September 2024) is: "Do not buy supplements over the internet unless you are confident the seller is reputable."
Caffeine pouches are adult products. Buy from a seller that asks you to confirm you're 18+ and doesn't market to under-18s, and be wary of social-media shop listings with no age confirmation. SnusBox customers confirm they're 18+ on the site.

Denssi's own FAQ describes its energy pouches as "100% tobacco-free and nicotine-free". Iceberg Energy is sold as a caffeine pouch and listed in mg caffeine, but Iceberg also sells 35mg nicotine pouches under the same flavour names, so check the can says nicotine-free before you buy.
Denssi is the lower-priced of our two caffeine brands at £3.99 a can, and all five flavours are 100mg. Viking Energy is listed as the Original flavour. Berry Beast, Chaos Cola, Southern Boost and Tropical Fury cover berries, cola, peach iced tea and tropical fruit.
Iceberg Energy comes in two strengths at the same £4.55, so you can change strength without changing brand. The 75mg cans are our lowest caffeine strength and the sensible first can. Menthol is the minty choice, while Energy Mango and Strawberry Mango cover fruit. The 150mg cans have double the caffeine per pouch, so they're not where to begin if you're unsure how caffeine affects you.

Don't buy the wrong can: caffeine vs energy-flavoured nicotine pouches
Iceberg uses the same flavour names for its caffeine and nicotine ranges, Denssi sells both types, and "Energy" and "Coffee" also turn up as flavour names on nicotine pouches. Match the name you searched for to the right product:

Iceberg causes the most mix-ups. Arasaka, Black, Emerald and Sweet Mint all come as 150mg Iceberg Energy Pouches (caffeine) and as 35mg Iceberg Nicotine Pouches. If you want caffeine, the title should read "150mg Iceberg Energy Pouches – Sweet Mint". A 35mg nicotine pouch is very strong and only suits people already used to strong nicotine pouches.
Here's the rule of thumb on our site. Caffeine titles say "Caffeine Pouches" or "Energy Pouches" and give 75mg, 100mg or 150mg. Nicotine titles say "Nicotine Pouches". The XQS caffeine range is listed on Haypp's UK caffeine pouches page, which also notes that coffee-flavoured nicotine pouches "contain nicotine but not caffeine".
Caffeine snus: what people mean by it
"Caffeine snus" (or "snus caffeine") is retailer slang for nicotine-free caffeine pouches. Traditional snus is a tobacco product. As of October 2026, selling it has been illegal in the UK since 1992 under the Tobacco for Oral Use (Safety) Regulations 1992, and the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 re-enacts the ban from 29 October 2026 (s.8). How much caffeine is in a pouch, and how it adds up
The FSA's guidance (published 25 September 2024, based on EFSA's 2015 opinion) gives guideline figures for healthy adults. These are up to 400mg a day from all sources, 200mg a day in pregnancy, and no more than 200mg in a single serving. These are guideline maximums, not targets, and every source counts, including tea, coffee, soft drinks and pouches.

Here's how it adds up across a day:
- Two 150mg pouches: 300mg, before any tea or coffee.
- Two 150mg pouches plus a mug of coffee: 400–440mg.
- One 150mg pouch plus a 250ml energy drink: about 230mg.
Use one pouch at a time, follow the daily maximum on the pack, and don't put a second pouch in straight after the first. According to the FSA, people sensitive to caffeine may feel jittery or anxious. Higher intakes can bring sleeplessness, palpitations, headaches and nausea.
Caffeine pouches aren't for children, pregnant or breastfeeding people, or anyone sensitive to caffeine. As of October 2026, FSA guidance for businesses says food supplements with added caffeine must carry the warning "Contains caffeine. Not recommended for children or pregnant women". Red On's product page also advises anyone with a heart condition or high blood pressure, or who takes medication, to speak to a doctor first.

What to check on any caffeine pouch listing
These checks work wherever you buy, Amazon included:
- Caffeine per pouch: is the mg stated per pouch, not just per can?
- Nicotine: does the pack say nicotine-free, and does the title say "Caffeine Pouches" or "Energy Pouches" rather than "Nicotine Pouches"? Watch for flavour names shared with the same brand's nicotine range.
- Pouch count and price per pouch: price ÷ pouches per can = price per pouch. If a listing gives no pouch count, you can't compare fairly.
- Strength first, price second: getting more mg for your money is no reason to go stronger.
- Best-before date and seal: check both, especially on marketplace listings.
- Seller: on a marketplace, is it the brand's own store or a third party, and who handles problems?
- Age: does the seller ask you to confirm you're 18+?
- Red flag: any listing that makes medical claims about the product.
- Returns: some pouch sellers, us included, don't accept change-of-mind returns, so choose your strength and flavour carefully.

Is caffeine snus the same as snus?
No. "Caffeine snus" is slang for nicotine-free caffeine pouches, while traditional snus is tobacco and can't legally be sold in the UK (see the caffeine snus section above). Coffee-flavoured nicotine pouches such as ZYN Coffee list nicotine mg, not caffeine.
How much caffeine is in a caffeine pouch?
It depends on the brand. Ours are listed at 75mg, 100mg and 150mg per pouch, Haypp's UK range lists 20–100mg, and Red On lists 200mg. For comparison, the FSA puts a mug of coffee at about 100–140mg.
